What is Angamardana?
Angamardana is a system rooted in yoga that offers to everyone the opportunity to invigorate the body and to reach peak physical and mental health. “Angamardana” means gaining complete mastery over the limbs, organs and other parts of the body. This practice revitalizes the body on all levels including the muscles, blood circulation, skeletal structure, nervous system, and the basic energy system. It strengthens the spine, builds physical strength, fitness and tenacity, taking years off the body. Designed by Sadhguru, Isha Angamardana needs no fitness equipment. It involves only the body and floor exercises that can be practiced anywhere, even during travel.
Angamardana builds a different level of strength. This is not about building muscles but about strengthening the ligaments. Once you strengthen them, they will keep you in good stead for a lifetime.
Whether you want to run up a mountain, sit absorbed in meditation or work continuously and stay focused - Angamardana can deliver true fitness. Angamardana is about strengthening the mind and cultivating the energy system, therefore allowing you to take your body far beyond the capacity offered by common forms of exercise.

Origins of Angamardana
Angamardana is deeply rooted in the ancient yogic sciences (along with Kalaripayattu – known as the mother of all modern martial arts) and has been used by yogis through the millennia to prepare for intense sadhana (spiritual practice) to help them reach their ultimate goal.
